Baca Villa

 By jeep trough the beautiful traditional countryside of Cambodia.

08.00 In the morning we are leaving Siem Reap and driving to the commune in the countryside where we are working since 2006.

After arriving in out typical Khmer house you can walk around and see how the villages are living.

We are teaching English in 3 villages with 5 local teachers from morning 05.00 till in the evening by battery at 19.00 Pm.

We will visit the 3 villages (from the 8 villages which belong to the commune) in a beautiful surrounding, if you like to stop and walk around, please the villagers like's it. In all the school you can go inside an help if you like.

 

We also build a new school here from our Cambodia-Dutch Organization. The most of the time we have volunteers here living in our Khmer house, helping the local teachers, brining food around and take care of two orphans.

You can make everywhere beautiful pictures.

You are able to go inside the school, there houses or fields and talk with them.

Show the kids the pictures you make, they like that very much. 

In the dry season it’s also beautiful to see the fields and how they are living.

We make till 12-2009 :

- We build a new school with toilets & storage

- 63 new water pumps

- 25 water filters

- rebuild or repair old houses

- Organize glasses days

- Helping poor families with food 2x times a week, sending kids to school.

- We build a hospital

- Bringing clothes around and helping where we can etc.

 

Around 11.00 we will stop and eat our sandwiches and drinks from Baca Villa in a beautiful area.

 

After a short break we are visiting the school where we are teaching English for free since 2006.

On the road you will see how the local Khmer people are living and working with there ox carts etc.

Around 16.00 we are back in Baca Villa.

 

This special countryside tour cost only USD 65.- per jeep day. Include sandwiches and soft drinks.

If you like to make this tour by our tuk-tuk (max 2 persons) it cost USD 30.-
